Our Founder
Freeman Pollard was welcomed into heaven on February 23, 2021. Freeman was born in Orlando, Florida, on April 13, 1960, and was the sixth of six children born to Freeman Cox Pollard and Annie Pearl Ezell. He moved with his family to Miami, Florida, at a young age and received his primary education there. Freeman met and fell in love with his pretty girl Patricia Harper Pollard in Sunday school in San Antonio, TX at Oak Hills church. They were married for nine wonderful years. As a young man in Miami, Florida, Freeman loved climbing mango trees to enjoy the fruit, had a paper route, collected cans for coins, and most of all loved perfecting his love of fishing in the waters of Florida. He served in the United States Marines for almost six years before his honorable discharge. After his discharge, Freeman began driving commercial vehicles for McArthur Dairy in Miami, Florida. He later formed his own trucking company, As the Crow Flies Transport and Hauling, LLC, where he primarily transported hot shot loads for the oil industry, construction rebar, as well as on demand merchandise. Freeman loved sharing the gospel at every opportunity. His nonprofit ministry, Real Prison Ministry, is poised to help many. He led many to saving faith in his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He was a certified culinary sous chef, carpenter extraordinaire, artist, writer, and gentle soul.
What We Share
We Believe
Freeman believed broken vessels, which we all are, are never finished until they are in the Master’s hand. Freeman is now in the Master’s hands. He has been made perfect. All his cracks are gone! Freeman was father of four children and nine grandchildren. His wife, Patricia, is carrying on Freeman’s work.
For what shall it profit a man, if he gains the whole world, and suffer the loss of his soul?
